PGT Industries, Inc. is looking for a qualified marketing professional to join our Marketing Department. Our Marketing Department produces a range of materials to support strategic corporate initiatives, as well as departmental projects. The Communications group is responsible for developing consistent, branded messages surrounding the PGT brand, products and services offered and delivering them effectively in a timely manner. Our communications target a wide variety of audiences including dealer partners, internal representatives, consumers, architects, etc.This candidate should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, have the ability to manage multiple projects at one time, and be comfortable working with other departments in the company and on various types of marketing projects.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Help create communication plans and execute a variety of tactics (ex. Internal emails; external eblasts) surrounding product line(s)
Assist in identifying the proper distribution audiences and delivery methods of marketing materials
Develops selling materials for product(s) and assists in the development of materials for the brand
Assist with website content management updates
Provide support to social media efforts
Help develop and execute public relations projects
Perform high-level analysis of marketing and sales data
Engage with dealer network to better understand their needs from PGT’s marketing department – specifically, marketing tools needed to effectively “sell” the PGT brand to their customers
Seek and analyze competitor marketing and sales materials both on- and offline
Help obtain and analyze secondary data.
None. May provide training and assistance to other Marketing Coordinators.
PGT Industries, Inc. is looking for a marketing professional who has majored in Marketing, Advertising or related field. This person should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with working knowledge of marketing best practices and social media marketing. Must be proficient in PowerPoint, Word and Excel. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite programs (Acrobat Pro, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator), website content management systems, and email marketing software is a bonus, and will be considered when choosing the best applicant for this position.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Proficiency in MS Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
Ability to follow up with inquiries and requests for information
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work independently without close supervision
Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively via telephone, e-mail, and letter
Math skills to review budgets such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages. Basic spreadsheet formulas.
Ability to manage input from cross-functional departments
