|Title:||Recruiting Team Leader|
Summary: Manages recruitment and job placement activities by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate employees.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Develops and implements programs, plans, policies, and procedures for recruitment, selection, and job placement.
Plans and directs activities of staff in carrying out such functions as developing sources of qualified applicants, screening applicants, scheduling and conducting interviews, checking references and backgrounds, pre-employment drug testing, and evaluating applicant qualifications.
Review with area leaders and hiring managers on staffing needs for the entire organization and establishes plans to meet needs throughout the year. Adjusts plans each quarter based on cycle forecast updates.
Motivates and executes team to meet weekly hiring goals for non-exempt and exempt hires.
Coordinates and conducts weekly Talent Acquisition/Generalist meeting and sepearte Area Leader Meeting.
Develops and maintains internal and external job postings.
Develops and maintains contacts with employment agencies, placement firms, and other sources of applicants. Negotiates competitive agreements with employment agencies and placement firms and evaluates success of relationships in meeting recruiting needs. Oversees temporary assignments via staffing agencies. Ensures accountability and performance of each.
Develops and maintains contacts with government and non-profit job placement agencies. Ensures job openings and company information are available to job seekers. Ensures participation in appropriate job placement activities sponsored by government and non-profit agencies.
Develops relationships with colleges, universities, high schools, technical schools and professional organizations to promote employment opportunities. Develops and manages part-time, co-op, and internship employment programs with selected schools and organizations.
Determines Internet online recruiting strategies for attracting and recruiting candidates. Negotiates agreements with online job posting services such as; Career Builder and Indeed professional organization sites, and ensures appropriate usage. Oversees and is responsible for content of career opportunities section of the company's website, including job postings.
Develops and implements recruitment module of SAP to automate processes from requisition to hire. Runs the new OPR on a weekly basis. Ensures that data is maintained and analyzed to monitor effectiveness of recruitment activities, applicant flow, interviews, hires, transfers, and promotions.
Analyzes statistical reports and other data to monitor applicant flow and selection for compliance with legal regulations and with organization goals and policies. Recommends and implements changes to procedures to improve results.
Determines advertising strategies for sourcing applicants and promoting employment opportunities. Develops and maintains relationships with advertising agencies, media outlets, and design professionals to produce and place advertisements.
Manages training of leaders in Targeted Selection techniques. Ensures leaders use Targeted Selection and other appropriate tools to interview and evaluate candidates.
Meets with hiring leaders to review job descriptions and confirm skills required for job openings. Determines sourcing strategies and anticipated total compensation packages for openings.
Sources and screens candidates to fill middle management and executive openings. Develops and extends offers to selected candidates. Assists in new employee transitions into the Company.
Develops and manages participation in on-site and off-site recruitment events including job fairs, college recruiting fairs, and trade shows. Determines appropriate events, manages staffing and preparations, and oversees promotion of the events.
Develops written materials to support recruiting efforts, including brochures, signs, flyers, etc.
Supervises recruiting team including specialists and coordinator.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BS or equivalent experience required; Master's preferred
Minimum of 5 years of successful recruiting experience

PHYSICAL DEMANDS/WORK ENVIRONMENT:
Usual office environment with frequent sitting, walking, and standing, and occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and balancing. Frequent use of eye, hand, and finger coordination enabling the use of office machinery. Oral and auditory capacity enabling interpersonal communication as well as communication through automated devices such as the telephone. Ability to lift approximately 25 pounds without assistance to carry recruitment and marketing materials. Ability to occasionally travel domestically.
