SUMMARY

The Finance Intern will work with the FP&A and Accounting team in preparation of the annual PLAN and Operating Budgets.

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Assists FP&A and Corporate Controller in the preparation of files and data necessary for completing the upcoming annual PLAN
  • Prepares and coordinate annual Budget templates to be completed by Cost Center leaders
  • Prepares, and distributes Budget and Forecast reports
  • Performs frequent updates to PLAN reports and databases
  • Works to streamline & improve existing planning processes
  • Ensures all required reports are electronically stored or hard copies are available
  • Performs other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • High school diploma
  • Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field
  • Microsoft Excel intermediate to advance skills including macros, charts & formulas
  • Ability to interact with all levels of management and employees in a professional way
  • Desire to learn about new products & manufacturing processes
  • Ability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure
  • Ability to accept responsibility for the direction, control or planning of an activity

LANGUAGE / COMMUNICATION SKILLS

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Basic math skills required
