|Title:||Accounting & Finance Intern - Summer 2019|
The Finance Intern will work with the FP&A and Accounting team in preparation of the annual PLAN and Operating Budgets.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assists FP&A and Corporate Controller in the preparation of files and data necessary for completing the upcoming annual PLAN
Prepares and coordinate annual Budget templates to be completed by Cost Center leaders
Prepares, and distributes Budget and Forecast reports
Performs frequent updates to PLAN reports and databases
Works to streamline & improve existing planning processes
Ensures all required reports are electronically stored or hard copies are available
Performs other duties as assigned

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma
Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business related field
Microsoft Excel intermediate to advance skills including macros, charts & formulas
Ability to interact with all levels of management and employees in a professional way
Desire to learn about new products & manufacturing processes
Ability to perform a variety of duties, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure
Ability to accept responsibility for the direction, control or planning of an activity
LANGUAGE / COMMUNICATION SKILLS
No specific communication skills required
Basic math skills required
Ability to analyze and interpret data
